3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes the data needed to deliver the website on our behalf under a data processing agreement. The application and its database run in the European Union (Frankfurt). Content may be delivered through Vercel's global network. Transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where the provider is certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable delivery of this website.

4. Server log files

When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically records: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. We use this data to deliver the website, to keep it secure and to find errors. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

5. Contact form and e-mail

When you use the contact form, we process your name, work e-mail address, organisation, role (optional), message (optional) and the type of request. When you e-mail us, we process your address and the content of your message. We use this data only to answer your request and, if a business relationship follows, to manage it.

Form submissions are stored in our website's content management system, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt), and sent by e-mail to info@fidempli.de so our team can reply.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for requests about a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is answering your enquiry.

We delete the data when it is no longer needed for your request, at the latest 24 months after our last contact, unless statutory retention periods require longer storage.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We store only what is strictly necessary without consent (§ 25(2) TDDDG). The cookie "fdm_consent" stores your privacy choice for 6 months. When you make a choice, we also store an anonymous record of it, with a random identifier and no IP address, as proof of consent. Anything else is used only with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. There you can also switch off the cookieless visit counting described below.
